Poochie

Poochie was found by a wonderful couple in Myrtle Beach who have been fostering her. She is an active girl who is around 1 year old. <br/><br/>She is a bundle of pure affection giving fur, she insists at 35lbs, that she is a lap dog and will try desperately to climb on your lap if you sit beside her. When we take her walking on the beach, she bounces in the waves, and tries very tirelessly to catch the sandpipers as she gallops along the sand like a racehorse! She definately takes the herding posture, head down and eyes fixed on her target, I guess she is just trying to round them up, she responds well to whistling, which I do instead of calling her name and she comes imediately.<br/>She is definitely a dog that wants to be around a people. She will play fetch with her tennis ball and her soft chew toys and loves to tease our cats by gently playing chase with them.She likes to dig and has burried bones all over the garden, which she digs up at her choosing later on for a snack. Her whole temperament is very gentle but still excitable as she is still puppy like and active. She walks well on a short leash, will sit when asked and is generally very obedient.<br/><br/>If we did not spend 10 hrs a day at work we would no doubt keep this beautiful pup as she is truly a sweetheart and we have begun to fall in love!, but she needs a home & family that can give her the attention she deserves. (She has been good with small children too.)<br/><br/>She is up to date on all shots and we have a spay certificate to cover spaying costs as she has not yet been spayed.
