Pony's Story

Pony is the kind of dog who makes you feel special just by walking into the room.

She came to us from West LA Shelter, where a volunteer fell in love and knew she was a special girl. When she wasn't adopted, we were contacted, and we are so glad we had the chance to step in. She's getting sweeter by the day.

She's 6 years old, 18 pounds of cream fluff, and has the softest eyes that brighten any room.

Her foster describes her as "very, very affectionate," and that says it all. Pony's happiest place is pressed up against her person soaking in pets, and a quiet evening on the couch, just "chillin' about," is her dream plan. She will lean into you like she has always lived there.

Inside the home, Pony has free roam and has earned it. She's house-trained, does well when left alone for a few hours, and is an easy roommate overall. As she's grown more comfortable, her goofy side has started to emerge. If something catches her eye she may occasionally borrow an item for closer inspection before moving on to her next important investigation (no items are harmed during her inspection!).

On leash she's a gem. She walks at an easy, happy pace and gets curious when she sees other dogs. With people she's an instant friend, loves kids, and will give you a good sniff before gently nuzzling in for pets.

Pony is looking for a home with plenty of love to give and couch space to share. She doesn't need a lot of space or a lot of activity. She needs a person who wants to be adored, because that is exactly what she will do.

If you are interested in adopting, head to hitlivingfoundation.org/adopt to apply.

Est DOB: 05/24/2020 Adoption
Fee: $550
