Watching a puppy spend his first year waiting is heartbreaking, and with his foster family heading away for the summer, were hoping now is finally Pongos time. <br/><br/> IMPORTANT <br/><br/>A reduced adoption fee does NOT mean reduced standards. Pongos forever family is still out there, and we wont settle for anything less than the perfect fit. We carefully screen every application, and Pongo will continue to receive the same thoughtful placement process as every dog in our care.<br/><br/> Meet Pongo <br/><br/>At just over a year old and around 50 lbs, Pongo is packed full of personality, intelligence, and love. We were told he may be a Border Collie/Lab mix, but honestly, your guess is as good as ours. What we do know is that hes 100% adorable.<br/><br/>Pongo can be a little nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, but he has worked incredibly hard to build his confidence. He even spent several weeks training with Style K9 Dog Training, where he learned valuable skills that have helped him thrive.<br/><br/>His future family will receive follow-up training sessions (already included in his adoption fee!) because we want to set him up for lifelong success.<br/><br/> Pongos Highlights <br/><br/> Walks beautifully on leash and sits politely at stops<br/> Crate trained and fully housebroken<br/> Professional-level cuddler who always wants to be near his people<br/> Smart, playful, food motivated, and eager to learn<br/> Great with dogs<br/> Good with cats<br/> Happy as an only dog or with canine companions<br/><br/>Because of his sensitive nature, Pongo would do best with older, dog-savvy children who can help him continue building confidence at his own pace.<br/><br/>His dream home?
