Poncho's Story

Meet Poncho. This Absolutely Adorable Sweet Boy

This handsome low-rider sweetheart is looking for his forever home! He is believed to be around 4 years old (exact age unknown) and may be a micro/pocket pitty or a bully-type dog with dwarfism — whatever the mix, it only makes him extra adorable. He is currently about 56 lbs.

He is mostly potty trained, with only occasional accidents, and is also crate trained. His favorite place to be is right next to his human. He loves cuddling on the couch, soaking up affection, and being close to his people. At night, he especially enjoys sleeping in his humans room, either next to the bed or even on it, where he feels safest and happiest.

He loves to play with toys, enjoys chewing on his chew toys, and is very treat-motivated, which makes bonding and training easy and fun. He has a great balance of playful energy and calm, cozy couch-potato vibes.

This sweet boy gets along great with other dogs and is absolutely wonderful with children of all ages, including toddlers. He is incredibly gentle and patient, happily allowing little ones to love on him — even pulling on his tail — without issue. His temperament is truly special.

Overall, he is a loving, loyal, affectionate dog with a heart of gold who just wants to be part of a family. He would thrive in a home where he can be close to his people and be loved as much as he loves in return.

To meet Poncho, please fill out an application!

Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption.

Dallas/Ft.
