Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501c3 rescue located near Dallas, Texas. All of our pets reside in loving foster homes. POLAR rescues animals from high-kill shelters in the DFW area, places them in foster homes, and after fully vetting and resolving any medical issues, adopts them out to approved homes.
Adoption Policy
In order to adopt one of our dogs, you must fill out an adoption application which is available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application. If you send an inquiry, you must note a phone number. We will not respond if there is no phone number provided. A home visit is required as well as an adoption fee of $275. The adoption fee includes neuter/spay, microchip, heartworm testing, deworming, vaccinations, and other necessary procedures.
