Pom Pom's Story

Meet our sweet little senior lady Pom Pom—a 10–12 year old white Poodle mix with a gentle heart and so much love left to give. She is currently available for adoption with Little Dog Rescue Society.

At just 12 pounds, Pom Pom is the perfect small companion who will happily follow you around, then curl up in her cozy bed nearby while you work or relax.

Despite a difficult past, Pom Pom hasn’t lost her spirit. She came to us severely neglected. She initially had very painful ear infections, and that has left her deaf. She was also very matted but her fur is starting to grow back.

Pom Pom enjoys walking on a leash and exploring the world through her nose. She loves to explore! She gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and even cats. In fact, she would do best in a home with another gentle small dog to help her feel secure and have companionship throughout the day.

Pom Pom is fully vetted, eats and drinks well, sleeps soundly in her crate, and walks fine. All she needs now is a patient, loving home that will cherish her and give her the comfort and care she’s always deserved.

This sweet girl is looking for someone special to spend her golden years with, she would be a wonderful pet as she is relaxed and not high energy. Pom Pom is also very quiet.

Included in her adoption are:

-spay surgery (done)
-vaccinations (done)
-deworming (done)
-flea and tick meds (done)
-a vet check
-leash and harness
-microchip (done)
-courtesy drop off/pick up at Tswassassen ferry terminal to approved adopters
-2 week trial adoption

A home visit and references are part of our adoption process.

Thank you for wanting to change the life of a homeless dog!!

We are an established BC Non Profit Society committed to saving homeless small dogs and finding them loving homes in BC.

Pom Pom’s adoption application is below.
