He may growl when unsure, but he’s never acted on it—he’s just asking for patience and space. With a gentle and understanding person, Polo’s true personality begins to shine. It took him a few days to feel brave enough to leave the kitchen and join me in the family room, but once he saw me sitting on the floor waiting for him, his curiosity and desire for love took over.<br/><br/>Now, Polo seeks out affection—especially head and butt scratches—and once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll have a devoted little companion. He loves car rides and will happily cruise along for the adventure.<br/><br/>Polo is calm for his age, enjoys observing the world, and lets you know when something outside catches his attention with a few barks. He’s fantastic with other dogs and loves to play with them. He’s also quite intrigued by the kittens in the home. Polo will need regular grooming to keep his soft, curly coat in good shape.<br/><br/>Polo is looking for a patient, dog-savvy person or family who’s willing to go slow and help him continue building confidence. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving pup who just wants to feel safe and seen.<br/><br/>Adoption is $400 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention.
