Polly Pocket *10 pound chi-mix sweetheart*

---Polly Pocket is an adorable 10 pounds, 1 year old chihuahua mix girlie born around Jan. 2025. Polly joined us after being picked up by animal control where they thought she had been hit by a car. She has a terrible broken leg and other injuries and was in rough shape. She joined our rescue and received over $10,000 in care and now her leg is fully healed. It was discovered that she had a broken pelvis at some point that has also healed and that she was not likely hit by a car, but abused. (Which is HORRIBLE because she is the SWEETEST girl.)<br/><br/>Polly is now fully vetted and has recovered completely with a clean bill of health. She does have a slight wobble and lean when she stands that she has been evaluated for by a neurologist and we think it is just congenital. This simply makes her "special" but has no long-term effects that we can determine. She listens well and acts and functions like a normal girl! She has a ton of energy and loves to play with her toys (especially her favorite ball) and is VERY affectionate and snuggly.<br/><br/>Like all chihuahuas, she will bark at a stranger but becomes your best friend immediately.<br/><br/>She is in a foster home with adults, cats and dogs and she loves them all! We wouldn't recommend kiddos under 12 years old due to her small size. <br/><br/>--She is so sweet & so loving, so smart, and absolutely amazing in every way. If you want a lap dog that will bond very deeply to you, she is your girl!<br/><br/><br/>-Cat & dog friendly <br/>-Kids aged 12+<br/>-Fully vetted.
