Polly is one of five doodles now safe and looking for fresh starts after being used by a backyard breeder. <br/><br/>At 1.5 years old and around 30 lbs, Polly is a shy, timid girl who is still learning confidence in a home environment.<br/><br/>She would do best with a patient, confident adopter and she would love a confident dog companion. She enjoys other dogs and will likely continue to blossom as she settles in.<br/><br/>Polly has a medium energy level, is crate trained but not a fan of it and will bark, so an apartment might not be the best fit. She is learning the dog door, and is doing well with potty habits with guidance. She is working in leash skills and will need continued support. She will also need regular grooming with an experienced groomer. She does great with other dogs and we feel she would thrive in a home with another furry friend. She is definitely not a dog that you can bring home and it will be perfect. She needs time to settle and feel safe. She spent most of her early life in a crate with little to no human interaction.
