Polly's Story

Polly is looking for her future family! This adorable Pekingese mix is around 12-13 years old and weighs 11 pounds.<br/><br/>Polly is blind but has done a phenomenal job mapping out the layout of our rescue in the weeks she's been here. She knows her name and will follow your voice, wagging her tail in excitement. She gets along great with the other dogs and loves to be pet and held. Plus, she has some of the softest fur we've ever felt!<br/><br/>Polly was recently spayed. During surgery, she had 4 small mammary masses removed. Thankfully, they were all benign. During her veterinary exam, we discovered that she has a grade 2 heart murmur. Her blood work looks good, and her teeth aren't too bad, but she will need a dental in the future. Vintage Pet Rescue will pay for this at the adopter's vet.<br/><br/>Polly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full blood work. When adopting from Vintage Pet Rescue, you are signing up to give a dog the best final months or years of their life, however long that may be.
