Polaris's Story

Polly has been in foster since February and is more than ready for her forever family to find her! She is medium energy, loves a good hike, does well on leash, and loves her people. She is a super cuddle bug and very affectionate with those she trusts and loves. Polly warms up better to females but has shown to be able to make male human friends when they are patient with her.

Polly rests nicely in her crate once she is fulfilled (walks/hikes/training are some of her interests). She has been living with a pack of dogs and after initial management and proper introductions, she does great with them. Polly would do best as a solo dog or with a well matched resident dog such as one that is playful and non confrontational. She has some prey drive so no feline siblings, please! Polly is entering a one month board and train to continue sharpening her skills and keeping up with her socialization while she waits for her person to find her. We would really love this girl to be home before the holidays.

If you think Polly could be a good fit for you, please fill out our adoption application to set up a date with this gorgeous girl. She is a lovely dog who will make a family very happy. Continued training with our training team is always suggested. Polly comes with a free training session with us, a leash, and her dog bed. She would require a hard crate as she does best in a crate that is more sturdy and enclosed. Saving With Bria, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Once an adoption application is filled out and it is good match, a meet and greet is then set up with the potential adopter(s). We spend the first meet and greet talking about the dog, our two week foster-to-adopt process, and how important training is/how to continue training. All questions are encouraged! If the meet and greet is a success and there are not other pets in the home, we will then plan for a second meet and greet and the dog can then begin its foster-to-adopt trial from there. If there are other dogs/pets in the home, the second meet and greet will include the other dogs/pets. If that meet and greet is a success with all parties involved, the foster-to-adopt trial can then be scheduled. We want to ensure that all of our dogs are set up for success and find their forever home..for the very last time!
