Polar Bear's Story

Polar Bear came into care after being run over by a vehicle, requiring surgery on her back leg.

She is a 6 year old, gentle dog who loves nothing more than to hang out with her favorite people on the couch or on a short walk. She is food motivated, so she is easily trainable. She is a bit shy to start with, but once she knows you, she is very loyal and will stick by your side. Polar Bear is good with other dogs that match her energy but doesn't have patience for dogs with higher energy than her that constantly want to play. She does very well with cats. Bear loves her walks for the chance to get into a staring match with the local rabbit population, but don't worry, she is still well mannered on leash.
