Hi! My name is Pogo and I'm at the Santa Barbara Campus. I'm a 3 year old male Pitbull Terrier mix who is eager for a new home!<br/><br/>Hi, I'm Pogo! I'm a medium sized mixed breed looking for a fresh start and a family to call my own again. I was originally adopted from the shelter as a puppy and spent the last few years growing up in a home, but unfortunately my family had to move somewhere that didn't allow pets. Even though my world has changed a lot recently, I'm still the same sweet and loyal guy who's ready to settle back into family life. I've lived with kids ages 7+ and did really well with them. I'm house trained and am used to having access to a backyard where I could come and go as I please, but honestly, I think I'm ready for a home where I can spend more time inside with my people and truly be part of the family. I'm pretty easygoing overall and settle nicely when left alone, enjoy playing with my toys, and am happy just relaxing nearby. When I go on walks, I usually mind my own business and don't pay much attention to other dogs. If one comes right up to me, I'd rather politely avoid the interaction than cause any trouble. I've also lived with a cat before and mostly just let them do their own thing while I did mine. What I'm really looking for is a home where I can feel safe, loved, and included. I may not be the loudest or flashiest dog around, but I have a lot of love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, gentle best friend.
