Tragically, his cat brother did not survive. The story is His owner set the fire and never returned, leaving the animals behind.<br/>We don’t know everything Poe has been through — but we know it’s been a lot. When he arrived, he was filthy and emaciated, clearly neglected long before the fire. It’s no surprise that he’s anxious, and we’re giving him the time and space he deserves to decompress and feel safe again.<br/>Despite everything, Poe has shown nothing but sweetness. He’s active, gentle, and still finds joy in the little things — especially the snow (very on-brand husky behavior ❄️).<br/>Poe has lost so much, but he hasn’t lost his heart. He deserves a future filled with safety, love, and warmth — the kind he’s never truly known.
