Pocky's Story
Pocky was found with his mother and siblings when he was a newborn. They were in a rural area near an abandoned home. We were able to save him and his siblings, because one of our wonderful fosters brought them into her home. Pocky was raised by his mother, and she has been adopted. He is now old enough to find a home too. He has now completed his veterinary care, and will be a great pup to raise.

Pocky does great with other dogs of any age and size, and he does well with cats too. He is wonderful with children and loves to be held. He is in a foster home with children as young as 6. He is almost house trained and is learning how to walk on a leash.

Pocky weighs 17 pounds, and he is 3 months old. We think he is a Lab mix. His mama weighs 30 pounds, so he will likely be a medium sized adult.

Pocky is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Pocky can arrive in Chester, Virginia on 8/15.
