Pkahn's Story
Meet Pkahn — a sweet, loving, and resilient puppy with an incredible spirit.
At just 5–7 months old and around 25 pounds, this handsome boy is expected to grow to about 50 pounds full grown, according to both his vet and those adorably oversized paws.

Pkahn’s story began with hardship. It’s believed he was hit by a car before being found, suffering a severe injury to his left back leg. Unfortunately, the break was too extensive and too old to repair, resulting in an amputation. But don’t tell Pkahn he’s missing a leg — from the day after surgery, he has been determined to make up for lost time and live life to the fullest.

Pkahn is playful, curious, and always ready for fun. He loves wrestling, chasing, and playing tug-of-war with his four-legged foster siblings, whom he keeps constantly entertained and on the move. Like many puppies, he isn’t always thrilled about kennel time and will definitely voice his opinion at first, though he usually settles down after a little while.

He’s also a big fan of snacks and chewing toys, especially anything food-related.
Blueberries, sweet peppers, and treats of any kind are among his favorites.

Pkahn is still working on potty training, but he improves every day with fewer accidents in the house. He sleeps through the night in bed with his foster mom and furry siblings.

While he still needs a little help getting onto the bed, he grows stronger and more
confident every day, and tasks that once seemed difficult are becoming easier and easier.

This lovable boy has never met a stranger. He adores attention and affection, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has had limited but positive exposure to cats — mostly because he wanted to play with them, too. He hasn’t spent much time around children yet, but given his affectionate nature, they’ll likely just become more people for him to love.

Pkahn is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and ready to find a forever family that will love him for the amazing, joyful pup he is.

If interested in meeting Pkahn, please submit an application here: https://fjcasp.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/
