PJ's Story

PJ is a sweet and happy go lucky Shiba Inu/Shiba mix. We don't know much about his past, except that he turned up in the shelter as a stray wearing pajamas. He was mis tagged as a Pomeranian mix, and our Pom rescue friends kept him safe. After getting him vetted, updated on vaccines, and a full health check completed, they contacted us about transferring him to our care. They weren't familiar with his allergies or how to treat them. And of course, we were no strangers to Shibas with allergies.

PJ is such a sweetheart - very easy going and a cuddle bug (a rarity with Shibas)! He would be a great addition to any adult family and we would sure love for him to have a quiet home to relax in. He is house trained and has great manners. He enjoys walks, but still enjoys being pet and cuddled. While PJ is good with other dogs, due to his age, we would like for him to go to a quiet home with calm dogs and/or older children.

We will require that PJ remain on a special diet and request applicants to adhere to that requirement so that he can remain healthy and happy. He may also require medications when allergies flare-up, but we believe on a special diet, he does not need medications for his condition.

PJ has been microchipped and is current on vaccines. PJ is crate trained, house trained, walks well on leash. He is neutered, has had a senior check and full dental completed. He is also heartworm negative and microchipped.

If interested in adopting PJ, please contact saveshibas@gmail.com.
PJ is located in Southern California.
