Pixie Moon ~ Local Girl's Story
**Please read Pixie Moon's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!**

Meet Pixie Moon - an 8 month old, Pug mix, who weighs about 23 pounds (as of 12/4/25). The MOON pups were surrendered to us in Tennessee and are all happy, healthy and ready to find their forever families!

Her foster shares: Pixie Moon is the sweetest girl. She loves people and gets along well with other dogs. PIxie can be a little nervous at the beginning but she is not shy to ask for pets and cuddles in fact, she might want to steal your pillow just to be next to you. She likes to play with her toys and keep herself entraining with long chewy treats. She still needs help with potty training, but has learned to use the pee pads with no issue.

"Pixie Moon is a darling little pup with a gentle soul and a happy heart. She absolutely loves people and greets everyone like an old friend. She is playful and bouncy! When she's excited twirls and dances, and then melts into your arms for snuggles. At just 23 pounds now, she’s a petite beauty who may reach about ~25 pounds full grown. With her adorable pug-like face and sparkling personality, Pixie Moon is ready to sprinkle a little magic into the life of her forever family!"

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

To adopt or learn more about Pixie Moon, you must fill out an adoption application. To find the application, copy and paste this URL into your browser: WWW.GDRNE.COM/ADOPTION-APPLICATION [Adoption Fee: $495] **

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
