Meet Pixie, <br/><br/>Shes a 1yr old foster puppy, looking for a young and active forever family! <br/><br/>When Pixie isnt going on her beloved outdoor walks...always with a happy wiggle, she loves playing with other dogs and kids! She enjoys smooshy kisses, hugs( seriously), cuddles and playing with lots of toys. <br/><br/>Pixie has had a hard start in life. She was recently saved from a kill shelter in Texas. She is super resilient and has a very sweet personality. She deserves the kind of loving family that will bring her such a happy life that she forgets all about her difficult puppyhood. Her<br/><br/>Her foster mom would keep her without thinking twice if she didnt already have 2 of her own. <br/><br/>Pixie is about 18lbs and can easily fit on your lap. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night. Her foster family is working diligently on house training, as she has never lived in a house before. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
