This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.*

Hi friend! The shelter staff call me Pixie, because I am a sweet little fairy underneath my Rottweiler (Lab mix) exterior. I'm only 2 years old, so I still have a lot of love and learning to do as I grow. Though my life so far has not been long, there has been some tough parts.. including some unkind people treating me badly. This makes me feel shy and scared sometimes when I meet new people or am in a new environment. Once I am given time and patience to know you and trust you, as well as other dogs, I really come out of my shell and shine. I am great on leash, love to carry my toys around with me, settle well in my kennel, and am the cuddliest 75lb lap dog you've ever seen! My favorite pastimes are walks with the staff, playing in the water, and being rewarded with treats for my good dog skills. If you're looking for a lifelong companion that is loyal, consistent, and perfect for taking the edge off after a long day - please consider adopting me, Pixie!
