Pixie's Story

Meet Pixie 💕

Pixie is a tiny 8-pound Pomeranian with a big personality just waiting to bloom in the right home. She may be a little shy at first, but give her time, patience, and a gentle routine — and you’ll start to see her true self come to life.

Once Pixie trusts you, she’s incredibly sweet and affectionate. She’ll greet her favorite people with happy energy, zoomies, and even the occasional game of fetch or tug-of-war. And if you’ve really won her over? Expect some enthusiastic face kisses.

Pixie thrives in a calm, predictable environment. She feels safest with patient people who will let her warm up at her own pace. A quieter home (with adults or calm, respectful kids) would be ideal for her. She has done well with other small dogs and may benefit from having a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. She has also previously lived with a cat.

She’s still figuring a few things out — like leash walks and new environments — so she’ll need a family committed to helping her build confidence over time. She can be a little nervous with new people and situations, but with consistency and kindness, she continues to make progress.

Pixie’s care is fairly typical for her breed. Her beautiful, fluffy coat will need regular grooming and brushing to keep her comfortable and mat-free. She also benefits from a structured routine and will need some continued support with potty training. Like many small dogs, she can be sensitive during vet visits and may need a little extra support to feel at ease.

Despite her small size, Pixie has a playful, silly side — including a signature move where she occasionally pops up into a little handstand on her front legs. It’s just one of the many things that makes her unforgettable.

Pixie is looking for a home that will meet her where she’s at, give her the time she needs to feel safe, and celebrate all the little moments along the way. In return, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion who brings joy, laughter, and a lot of personality into your life.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive dog to grow alongside, Pixie might just be your perfect match. 💛
