Meet Pixie Pixie is a 3-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix with a heart that beats just for her person. If you've ever dreamed of having a loyal shadow by your side, Pixie is ready to make that dream come true. This sweet girl is the definition of a "velcro dog." She'll happily follow you from room to room and has the cutest habit of gently hugging your legs just to remind you she's there. Pixie thrives on connection and would love a home where she can be close to her person as much as possible. She walks beautifully on leash, making her a perfect companion for peaceful strolls. While she does well around other dogs, she prefers to keep to herself and doesn't usually initiate play-she's much more interested in bonding with her human. Pixie is wonderfully well-mannered in the home. She is fully potty trained, does not get on furniture, and already knows "sit," "lay down," and "center." She's the kind of dog who settles in quickly and just wants to be near you, quietly soaking up love. Hands N Paws Animal Assistance's Adoption Policy

Thank you for looking at our pets. We are a foster based organization so appointments are made with a foster parent to visit our animals. Please fill out our adoption inquiry form. It will be forwarded to the foster home and they will contact you. The adoption fee of each of our animals is listed on their biography page. There will be information listed about the pet on that page as well. After you have spoken with a foster parent with Hands 'N Paws and have chosen a pet(s), you will be directed to fill out an Adoption Contract. Our adoptions are done on a first come first service basis unless a hold is placed on the pet(s). The hold is for up to 7 days and may be done when the Adoption Contract is submitted. You may place a hold by paying the Hold Fee of $25 per pet. The Hold Fee of $25 is Non-Refundable and will be in addition to the Adoption Fee. You may instead pay the full Adoption Fee which will also hold the pet(s). After 7 days, if the pet(s) have not been picked up, any fees paid will be forfeited and will be considered a donation to Hands 'N Paws Animal Assistance. The adoption fee may be paid on our website using our Donation Button or at the end of the adoption contract. When that is completed, the pick up arrangements can be made and you new family will go home with you. We do have regular events at Hale's Farm at Feed at 1510 W Basin Street, Ephrata WA on the 2nd and 5th Saturday's of each month from 10am to 2pm. At these events, we will have as many of our animals present so they can be visited with. There may transport for any animals adopted from our organization that need a ride to the westside arraigned to North Bend. They will need to meet in the parking lot in front of the Sketchers store at the outlet mall.
