I found a family and made my way all the way to New York. For eight wonderful months, I thought I had found my forever home.<br/><br/>But life had other plans.<br/><br/>After repeated attacks from another dog in the home, I lost the only family I had ever known and found myself back in rescue care. Through no fault of my own, I was once again searching for a place to call home.<br/><br/>Since returning, Ive been patiently waiting in boarding, wondering when it will finally be my turn.<br/><br/>The truth is, Im an incredibly loving dog. I adore people and thrive on companionship. My happiest moments are spent close to my humans, soaking up affection and simply being included. I get along well with dogs, cats, and respectful children, making me a wonderful addition to many different types of families.<br/><br/>Im fully house-trained and know how to be a good girl inside the home. While kennel life has been stressful for me and sometimes causes tummy troubles, thats not who I truly am. The shelter and boarding environment can be overwhelming, but once Im in a home where I feel safe, my personality shines.<br/><br/>I love toys, especially stuffed ones, and Im always ready to make you smile with my goofy moments. Im not looking for perfection. I dont need a mansion or endless adventures. I just want a family who wont give up on me.<br/><br/>Someone who understands that Ive had my heart broken before.<br/><br/>Someone who will give me the time to decompress, settle in, and remember what it feels like to be loved.<br/><br/>I have so much love left to give. More than anything, I want a couch to call my own, a family to greet every day, and the security of knowing that this time, its forever.<br/><br/>Ive already lost one home.
