Pittsville 's Story
Neutered Male
2 Years Old
56 Years Old
$75

Meet Pittsville — your ticket to fun, adventure, and nonstop smiles!

At 2 years old and 56 pounds, Pittsville is a high-energy boy who’s always ready to go. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you active and turn everyday moments into exciting adventures, Pittsville is your guy. From long walks to playtime in the yard, he’s happiest when he’s on the move and by your side.

Pittsville will need consistent training to help channel his energy and set him up for success, but he’s full of potential and ready to learn. He appears to do well with children and other dogs, and with proper introductions and a thoughtful adjustment period, he could thrive in a variety of homes.

He came to us as a stray from Detroit with no known history, but he hasn’t let that slow him down. Pittsville is eager to leave the past behind and find a family that’s ready to embrace his zest for life.

If you’re an active household looking for a fun-loving companion to share in your daily adventures, Pittsville might just be your perfect match.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards.
No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably.
Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org.
Open Adoption Hours:
• Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm
• Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm
• Saturday: Noon – 4 pm
I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.
We can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new best friend!
