Pisco's Story
Pisco / M / 2Y / 52lbs / Australian Shepherd mix / Fostered in Toronto

This lovable boy is a people-oriented pup with a heart full of affection and a tail that wags so hard his whole booty shakes when you come home. Pisco is the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy cuddles. He loves nothing more than a good game of tug in the snow, rolling around like a happy snow angel, and then snuggling up next to you on the couch afterward. When he wants belly rubs, he'll flop dramatically on his side and gaze up at you with those big, irresistible eyes. Fair warning: you will always be the best part of his day!

He loves morning walks, playtime in the backyard, daycare fun with his dog friends, treats (did we mention he's VERY food motivated?), more walks, a peanut butter Kong to work on, and evening cuddles with his favourite humans. He's smart, eager to learn, and picks up new skills quickly—especially when treats are involved!

Pisco already knows sit, paw, place, find it, wait, let's go, and his name. He's currently working on touch and disengagement tactics. He's fully potty trained (zero accidents!) and will alert you when he needs to go out. He has great leash manners, though he can get excited about new smells or meeting friendly passersby.

Pisco does well in his dog-proofed room when home alone (up to 7 hours max, though less is better), but would likely thrive with trusted free roam. He loves meeting new people and gets along great with other dogs, though he's still learning proper play boundaries. No cats. He would be fine with kids 8+. He's medium/high energy. He's looking for an active family who will take him on adventures and give him plenty of cuddles. He would do fine in a house or an apartment.

If you are interested in adopting Pisco, please complete an adoption application on our website.
