Piquillo's Story
Piquillo is a 14 lb little guy with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life. Friendly, social, and always ready to engage, he gets along well with dogs and kids, making him a great addition to many types of homes. His experience with cats is unknown.

He's an active (level 4) pup who loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. Piquillo is happiest when he's included in daily life--whether that's playtime, walks, or just hanging out with his people. He's also a good eater and has no known medical concerns.

Piquillo is crate trained, though he may cry when first left alone, and he is still working on potty training. He's learning his manners and can get a bit overexcited, which shows up as jumping or humping, but he's responsive and already knows commands like "come" and "leave it." With consistency and structure, he's going to make great progress.

He would do best in a home that:
* Provides structure, consistency, and continued training
* Can give him regular exercise and outlets for his energy
* Is patient as he continues working on potty training and crate confidence
* Will reinforce good manners and help him stay calm when excited

Overall, Piquillo is a fun, affectionate, and spirited companion who will thrive with the right guidance and commitment. He's full of potential and just waiting for the right person to help him shine.

Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped. All dogs are fostered in a foster home where they are treated like family - practicing socialization skills.

After you submit an application, our team will review and contact you within 24 hours. The process includes an interview, home check, and meet-and-greet (all household dogs must be present). Renters must provide a lease showing dogs are allowed. Adopters are also required to complete a training course with a certified positive reinforcement trainer. We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application athttps://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sa3058&method=online_form_html&formid=41
