Pippy's Story

Meet Pippy, an 8-month-old girl weighing 21 lbs! She's an energetic and smaller girl who loves people, giving hugs, getting belly rubs, and already knows sit! She was adopted in July, but brought back due to the resident dogs not accepting her. She's affectionate, playful, active, and social! She was friendly with the large dogs and didn't mind the smaller dogs. She loves pets, cuddling, and playing with chew toys. She's not potty-trained and will need training. Her ideal home would have time to train her! Come visit with her soon! ...

Kansas Humane Society of Wichita's Adoption Policy

Adoptions are available on a first come, first served basis - no appointment needed. Holds may be placed for a deposit by visiting KHS, or calling 316-524-9196. When you arrive at KHS, let our adoptions counselors know which animal(s) you'd like to meet in our visiting rooms or play yards. We encourage visits by all members of the household, especially kids and other dogs! *Must be 18 years of age or older (or accompanied by an adult) with a current photo ID. Must be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment, and proper care for your adopted companion.
