Pippin's Story

I am a handsome, social guy who walks nicely on a harness and loves hanging out with my staff and volunteer friends! I know a variety of commands and appear to be potty trained. Here in shelter playgroups I mostly keep to myself, and while I don't mind passing by dogs in public I may prefer to have a meet and greet with any potential canine housemates. I have been spending some time in foster care, where I have show that I love snuggles on the couch and am a big fan of swimming in the pool!

My foster mom has this to say about me: Pippin is doing very well on his weekend out. He drove in the car without any problems, no nervousness or anxiousness. He’s a pretty easy going boy, likes to chill on the couch specifically after his walk. We take him 3 times a day for long walks. He's pretty good on the leash, when we passed other dogs or people he doesn’t bark or pull his leash. He likes to chew on his toys and play catch. But I think his favorite thing to do is snuggling with my husband. He has good appetite, loves chicken and treats.
He was very calm during the bath that we gave him
He knows various words like seat, walk, stop, go, go to bed, lay down and he waits for command to start eating. He’s a very smart boy!

My adoption fee is generously waived, and while you can't buy love you certainly can rescue it. Ask to see me today!
