Pippin's Story

Come meet me at Volleypaws on Saturday, January 31st @ 34650 Melinz Pkwy, Eastlake, OH 44095 12:30-4 pm

6 months old. Border Collie mix. HR department nightmare. I currently weigh about 20 pounds and will not be too much bigger.

I am very smart, very busy, and absolutely convinced that movement is my business. If you want a puppy who lounges around all day, I am not your girl. If you want a dog who thrives on rules, structure, and having an actual job, keep reading.

I do best in a home that understands herding dogs. I need clear expectations, consistency, and someone confident enough to tell me what the rules are. A trainer lined up is required because I’m too smart to be left to my own devices.

Housekeeping notes:
• Fully fenced yard required (cars are very suspicious)
• Kids 10+ only
• No cats (they run, I chase)
• No small dogs (my play style is… a lot)

The good news:
I’m fully housebroken and politely scratch at the door when I need to go out. I love people, did amazing going to work with my foster mom, and handled meeting everyone like a pro. I also tried agility and would like to formally request a job that uses my brain.

I have zero chill unless I’ve been properly exercised and mentally worked. Once that box is checked, I’m capable of settling down like a reasonable member of society.

I’m not “easy,” but I’m fun, driven, hilarious, and incredibly rewarding in the right home.

Apply if you enjoy structure, training, and a dog who keeps you on your toes.

Pippin is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative.

Adoption fee: $350

A complete and approved application is required prior to an in-home meet and greet.

Applicants must be within a one hour driving distance of Cleveland, Ohio

Apply at onek9.net/apply
