Pippi's Story

Meet Pippi!

If happiness came with four legs and a wagging tail, it would be Pippi.

This adorable, pocket-sized pittie came from a neglect and abuse case in Kankakee where multiple dogs were rescued, but you would never know it by the way she greets the world. Pippi wakes up every day convinced that life is one big adventure filled with people to love, toys to carry, and friends to play with.

She's the kind of puppy who almost always has a toy proudly clamped in her mouth. Whether she's romping around with her foster dog siblings, chewing on a bone, racing through the sprinkler with her tiny human friends, or curled up for a nap after a busy day of being adorable, Pippi is simply happy to be included.

Like any puppy, she's still learning the ropes. She's mastering sit, stay, release, and is proving to be an all-star student. She's also figuring out that not every dog appreciates being launched into playtime at full speed and that fingers aren't chew toys when those puppy teeth get busy. Thankfully, she's a quick learner and happily redirects to her own toys.

Pippi is crate trained, house trained, wonderful with children, and has done fantastic living with multiple dogs. While she'd love a canine sibling to wrestle and play with, it's certainly not a requirement because, at the end of the day, people are her absolute favorite.

If you're looking for a smaller bully breed puppy with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and enough love to fill your entire house, Pippi is ready to make herself at home.

EST.
