PIPPEN's Story

Meet Pippen (A566524) Pippen is an outgoing, playful boy who makes it very hard not to smile when you are around him. He arrived on March 28th and has been patiently waiting for his chance at a forever home ever since. This sweet boy loves being outside and soaking up time in the play yard. If you happen to catch him having a quiet moment, all it takes is stepping in to spend time with him and he instantly lights right up. He truly just wants someone to share his time with. Pippen has a great balance of energy. He still loves to play and have fun, but it is not overwhelming. He enjoys interacting with people the most and would much rather play with you than anything else. He will happily chase toys, even if he has not quite figured out the whole “bring it back” part yet. He already knows “sit” and is very treat motivated, which makes him a great candidate for learning even more. He really seems like the kind of dog who is just waiting for someone to teach him new things. He is a smart boy who will thrive with a little time and consistency. Pippen has been tested with a female dog and did well, though he prefers playing with people over other dogs. Pippen is ready to bring fun, companionship, and a whole lot of smiles to his future home. All he needs now is someone to give him that chance. Come meet him today! Pippen is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs about 62 pounds. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a 90 day flea and tick preventative. Ready to meet Pippen? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd and head to the dog areas. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID.
