Pippa has done wonderfully with children in meet‐and‐greet sessions and enjoys gentle interaction.<br/><br/>She arrived with healing wounds but has been recovering well with care, and her loving temperament has remained steady throughout. She's outgoing, pleasant, and happy to be near her handler.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a kindhearted, family‐friendly dog who's ready for a soft landing and a loving home, Pippa is a wonderful choice.We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! Douglas County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fees vary based on services provided. Please visit our Web Site for prices. The fees may include vaccines and a microchip, the first year rabies vaccine, and spay/neuter surgery. If the animal is not the appropriate age for spay/neuter, the adopter must sign a contract agreeing to spay or neuter at their expense. Ages for dogs and cats are as follows: Senior 5+ years, Adult 1-5 years, Young 6-12 months and Puppy/Kitten 0-6 months.
