Pippa's Story

Pippa is a tiny survivor with the biggest heart.

At just 11 months old, Pippa has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. She was found abandoned—tied up in an empty backyard for nearly a month, left to fend for herself. When she was finally rescued, she was skin and bones, terrified of the world, and unsure of who she could trust.

But Pippa is proof of how resilient dogs can be.

In her foster home, she’s slowly learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for. While she can be shy at first, once she opens up, her sweet personality shines through—she absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to her people. She's started playing with toys and you can tell she's finally starting to feel safe.

Pippa is looking for a patient, loving home that will give her the time she needs to continue building confidence. She bonds deeply with her person (she’s especially attached to the teenager in her foster home!) and will thrive with someone who can offer reassurance and consistency.

She's doing great with crate and potty training. She's dog-friendly and currently living peacefully with other dogs.

Pippa handled her recent vet visit very well. She will be spayed soon (just waiting for her current heat cycle to finish).

If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion and are willing to give a deserving dog the patience and love she needs, Pippa will reward you tenfold.
