Piper is an adorable 20-pound 11-year-old dachshund/chi mix need of a loving forever home. Piper's journey began on June 14th when she arrived at a Houston area shelter as a euthanasia request. She is already spayed, heartworm negative, and had a dental cleaning on June 30th. When she arrived at the shelter, she had some skin issues and ear infections for which she's currently being treated.<br/>While she may take some time to warm up to new people and situations, her trust and affection will blossom once she feels safe and secure.<br/><br/>If you have a compassionate heart and are willing to provide a nurturing environment for a sweet girl like Piper, she will undoubtedly reward you with unwavering loyalty and gratitude.
