Like many Satos, she's learning that the world can be a safe place, and every day she's becoming a little braver.<br/><br/>Piper is initially shy and cautious with new people and experiences, so she's looking for a patient adopter who will let her build confidence at her own pace. Once she starts to trust you, she becomes the ultimate Velcro dog and wants nothing more than to be by your side. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves simply being in the same room with them.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs and has enjoyed meeting neighborhood pups. She can occasionally be a little protective of her favorite person when another dog comes over for attention, but she's already making progress with positive guidance.<br/><br/>Piper sleeps quietly in her crate every night and happily takes her naps there too. She is working on leash and potty training and is making steady progress. Like any young puppy, she'll need consistency, patience, and encouragement as she continues to learn.<br/><br/>Piper would thrive with a family that understands shy dogs and is excited to help her blossom into the confident, loving companion she's meant to be.
