Piper's Story

Meet Piper!
Smart, athletic, devoted, and absolutely convinced that fetch is the greatest game ever invented. She is one special girl who is ready to find a person she can truly bond with.

Piper is VERY intelligent and already has some fantastic skills under her belt. She is house trained, kennel trained, and walks beautifully on leash. Give her a ball, and you'll quickly discover that fetch is life. She's also the kind of dog who loves having a job to do and will thrive with someone who enjoys keeping her smart brain engaged.

Piper can be a little nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, so she's looking for a patient family willing to let her build trust at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, her loyal and devoted personality really starts to shine. She would prefer to have her human's attention to herself and would love being someone's special sidekick. Piper does best with older kids and would love a home where she can have consistency ans structure.

If you're looking for an incredibly smart, loyal companion who will give you her whole heart once she trusts you, Piper might just be your girl. Cheyenne Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
As Wyoming’s largest animal adoption agency, CAS has the widest selections of cats and dogs, rabbits, small mammals and more in Wyoming. Visit our shelter today, or visit Adoptable Cats, Adoptable Dogs or Working Cats to view pictures and profiles of all pets in need of homes! Visit our website to see available animals or visit the adoptable animals at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. We have three large dog adoption rooms, “cat alley” and critter space. While visiting the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, a CAS adoption counselor will help you find the pet who is the best match for your family and lifestyle. Once you find your match, a Cheyenne Animal Shelter staff person will begin the adoption process, which often takes as little as an hour. Once you have reviewed all adoption paperwork, you’ll pay the adoption fee. Then, you’re ready to take home your new furry family member.
