Piper's Story
Hey, I’m Piper! I’m a smaller pup at 33 pounds, but my heart is super big. I love my sister Lilly very much and rely on her comfort and love. Therefore, I would do best in a home with other dogs. I’m a pit bull/Aussie mix and just two years old. I’m shy and freeze up when walking on a leash—I've done that ever since I was little—but with a gentle guide, I find my footing and start moving.

I adore children and get along great with other dogs. I haven't been cat-tested, but we can check that if needed. I’m playful and gentle, and I’ll light up once I feel safe and loved. Belly rubs, butt scratches, chewing bones, chasing tennis balls—those are my jam! I respond well to corrections and am crate trained, though my leash skills still need some work. I am not potty trained yet but my brother’s only took two weeks to fully potty train and considering we are not puppies, my training will likely be that quick too. And yes, I jump up from pure excitement—not aggression—and I’d love help learning better manners.

I will be spayed and fully vaccinated before adoption. I am in Burkesville, KY but can be transported to other locations for adoption. A transport fee may apply if volunteer transport is not available. I’d love to find a home where love is guaranteed.
