Piper's Story

Meet Piper — the adorable little tripod with the biggest personality and an even bigger heart! At just 15 lbs and around 1 year old, Piper is a small mixed breed girl who proves every single day that three legs don’t slow her down one bit. She’s happy, playful, resilient, and always ready for fun.

Piper has settled beautifully into foster care and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. In fact, she absolutely LOVES playful cats and would happily spend hours chasing toys, wrestling with feline friends, or spinning in circles chasing her own tail. She’s respectful of pets who prefer their space, but if someone wants to play, Piper is all in.

This sweet girl is fully potty trained and will politely let you know when she needs to go outside. She’s also playpen trained and prefers a larger cozy space over a traditional crate. While she’s still learning leash manners and basic commands, she’s smart, eager to please, and very food motivated — treats are absolutely the way to her heart!

Because of her amputation, Piper prefers to avoid stairs when possible, though she can absolutely manage them for the right snack reward. She also appreciates a little boost onto the couch, where she loves to snuggle up for chin scratches and cuddle time. She’s calm when being picked up, enjoys dressing up in cute sweaters and outfits, and truly thrives on affection.

Piper can be a little shy with men at first, but warms up quickly and has been incredibly sweet with everyone she meets. She’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, independent and cuddly.

If you’re looking for a resilient little best friend who will keep you laughing, snuggling, and smiling every day, Piper may just be your perfect match.

Apply online & come meet our girl!

https://forms.gle/97sdyZgWiVDcYPJk6

Piper’s adoption fee is $350 and helps to come some of the costs of her vetting, spay, vaccines and microchip - all of which is already complete!
