Piper's Story

Piper is about as perfect as you are going to get. Seriously.
Piper came to us with a litter of nine puppies that were just a few days old.
Since coming to our home back in mid-February she has not had a single accident, has not chewed anything other than the rawhides we give her, has gotten along with every dog in our home, every dog that has visited, every human young and old that has visited!
She is sweet and joyful and funny.
She loves to curl up at my feet, which she is doing as I type this description.
She will get up on furniture if not used and, while we do not allow dogs on our bed, when she does slide into our bedroom we find her on our Queen sized bed which she manages to spread out taking up like 3/4 of it!
Piper is a charcter, a charmer.
Piper knows some commands such as sit and down and she does no NO.
She responds to no.
The only naughty thing she has done was to go over fence (it's short) and snag a hen. Hen was unharmed, we now go out with Piper and if we say no when she gets too close to the fence she comes right back.
Piper is crate trained and has done well. She will bark in her crate at times and she does have a deep bark.
We are pretty convinced that Piper was a house dog before finding her self with nine new born pups and dumped at an animal shelter in Michigan before coming to our home.
Piper is a pet, not a competition dog. Well, maybe nose work and that sort of thing but not agility.
Piper would be an amazing pet therapy dog!!!!!
Piper has been spayed, micro chipped, wormed, and is no heartworm preventative.
To Adopt: Email us at petsconnect@petsconnect.org to request an application

Be sure to check out our facebook where there are so many photos and videos of the pups. Go to: https://www.facebook.com/PetsConnectInc/

PetsConnect is a 501(3) c not for profit, foster based organization.
We run on volunteer power and depend on donations.
Feel free to drop us an email about how you can volunteer, foster a dog or donate.
