Piper

Piper is now almost 3 years old and still in foster care. She is still a sweet loving dog. She loves all dogs and has no fears around any dogs.<br/><br/>Piper has grown up and still has her special needs and still wants lots of attention. She wears a diaper and is great about being changed. We think she thinks of her diaper as a fashion accessory. She loves to look cute. <br/><br/>Piper loves to play with all other dogs. She has a best friend in Bolt another special needs foster dog. They rough house and snuggle together. Nothing holds Piper back except when she knows someone will hold her. She will wait to be carried in if her foster dad is nearby. He carries her in. But she can get herself in if she wants. She loves to go in a stroller and go shopping so people can tell her how cute she is. She will sit quietly in the stroller and watch the world go by. She loves to ride in the car with her human. She just sits and watches the driver to make sure the driving is safe. There is rarely a time she is not ready to go anywhere with her person.<br/><br/>Piper will sleep next to you, snuggle with you while you watch TV and follow you around. She will sit on your lap anytime you let her. She will require these activities in her new home.<br/><br/>Piper does need a secure fenced in yard. She will walk around if the whim passes her. But we think a secure fenced in yard will keep her safe from other critters. Due to her special needs extra care on keeping her safe is important.<br/><br/>Piper is healthy. Periodically we may give her pain meds if she seems to be slowing down. We do not know what she is feeling. She is very storic. But when she does slow downs, we assume there is an ache or a pain. Again, it is a rare occasion but we keep meds on hand.<br/><br/>This girl is a wonderful dog who deserves a home where she will be spoiled. She wants to be near her person all the time because she loves so much.
