Piper #5215's Story

Meet Piper

Equal parts cuddle bug, chaos goblin, speed racer, and professional napper—Piper is ready to steal hearts...and toys!

This high-energy girl plays hard, naps even harder, and brings joy everywhere she goes. Piper is a tug-of-war champion, loves playing fetch and herding balls. She also holds an undefeated record against every “indestructible” toy she's ever met... seriously, nothing is safe

Piper is incredibly smart, food motivated, and eager to learn. She has already learned to ring a bell when she wants to go outside and is quickly picking up new skills. She knows sit, down, center and is working on stay, spin and going to “place” to patiently wait for her meals. She thrives on routine, structure, and positive reinforcement, making training fun for both her and her person.

One of Piper's coolest traits is her incredible nose. She has an excellent sense of smell, notices the smallest movement around her, and loves to investigate. She may be a great candidate for scent work or other enrichment activities that challenge her mind.

Piper would thrive in an active home that enjoys training and adventure. A confident canine sibling with good manners could help show her the ropes, and because she loves to zoom (while occasionally forgetting where her feet are), a home with older kids may be the best fit for this goofy girl.

Crate-trained and settles quickly
Rings a bell when she needs to go outside
Loves fetch, tug-of-war, tennis balls, and herding toys
Smart, eager to learn, and highly food-motivated
Excellent sense of smell with potential for scent work
Rides well in the car and naps during road trips
Still learning polite play with cats
Certified cuddle bug once the zoomies are over

Piper has received all of her vaccines and has been spayed, so she's ready to start her next adventure with her forever family.

Sweet, silly, athletic, and full of personality, Piper is looking for someone who will embrace her playful spirit, continue building her confidence, and love her for the amazing dog she's becoming.

Think Piper might be your perfect match? Please submit an adoption application here:

https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application

There are some additional fees: $20 microchip transfer fee to register and transfer her to her new furever family.
