Piper's Story

Meet Piper! This little nugget is 11 months old and approximately 35 pounds of pure love. Piper is the kind of dog who doesn't just sit next to you - she melts into you, giving her whole heart to anyone lucky enough to earn her snuggles. If lap dog were a competitive sport, she'd be a gold medalist .

When she's not busy perfecting her cuddling technique, Piper enjoys chewing on her favorite toys and going for leisurely walks. She's already ahead of the curve for a pup her age: potty trained and a total rockstar in her crate.

Piper does have a soft spot for dog friends, though she prefers the low-key type over the rowdy crowd. A relaxed, goofy play buddy would be her ideal match or she'd be absolutely thrilled to reign as your one and only.

Sweet, silly, and full of love, Piper is truly a gal who will make you smile every single day . If you're ready to have a pint-sized shadow supervise your every move, apply for Piper today! www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt

Buffalo Underdogs Rescue's Adoption Policy
After our dogs are listed for adoption, you can apply online for the dog you are interested in meeting. *Buffalo Underdogs Rescue does not operate on a “first come, first served” basis. Our primary concern is that the dogs in our care go to the home that is best suited for them.* The foster parent of the dog will view all of the applications that are submitted for their foster dog. They will select the applicants that seem to be the best fit and call their personal and vet references. If your application appears to be the best fit for their foster dog, they will then contact you to set up a meet and greet at your house. They will also discuss the adoption requirements during this initial call. *Note: All members of the family must be present at the meet and greet.* If all goes well at the meet and greet, and the foster and family feel that this is the best fit, arrangements will be made to complete the adoption. In order to adopt, you must have an appropriately sized collar (or harness, if required), leash and a dog tag with your telephone number.
