Piper's Story

Piper is a beautiful lab-shepherd-greyhound mix who is 9 years old. She is incredibly, sweet, well trained, and loves people and cuddles. Her favourite pastime is curling up into her signature donut shape and leaning into you while you watch tv, have a nap, or lay in the sun. Piper’s favourite game is playing hide and seek with treats; she waits in the other room while we hide treats around the house and then she will excitedly and with determination root them all out. She loves to go on long slow walks where she will smell every last thing. Her favourite snacks are cucumber slices and she can hear a cucumber being cut open from rooms away. Piper is loyal, silly and, just wants to be where the people are.

Piper's ideal home would be an adult only home without other animals.

Name: Piper

Breed: Mixed breed Labrador and Greyhound
Weight: 70 pounds
Gender: female
Spayed/neutered: spayed
Age: 9 years

Obtained From: Rehomed from another home at about 1 year old.
Reason for Intake: Piper is not comfortable around toddlers

Up to Date with Vetting: Yes
Good with dogs: She is reactive to other dogs on leash closer than 15-20 feet.
