Pinto

Pinto is an adorable 2-year-old Chihuahua who came to us after his owner was moving and was unable to take him along. At just 7.6 pounds, he may be tiny, but we think there is a lot of personality waiting to come out once he feels safe!<br/><br/>Pinto is a pretty typical Chihuahua—he can be shy and nervous around new people and new situations, but once he decides you are one of his people, he bonds closely. He is also very submissive and will roll right over for a belly rub. <br/><br/>We are currently working on crate training and potty training with Pinto. He is making progress but does still have an occasional accident, so his new family will need to continue working with him as he adjusts to a new routine.<br/><br/>Pinto seems to do well around other dogs and cats. Because he can be easily frightened, we think he would be happiest in a home with older children or children who understand how to give a scared little dog some space and time to become comfortable.<br/><br/>Pinto is neutered and current on his vaccinations, so he is ready to start looking for his new family.<br/><br/>We are confident that with a little patience, consistency, and plenty of love, Pinto will come out of his shell and become a wonderful little companion.
