Hi, I’m Pinto <br/><br/>I’m a sweet, cuddly little guy with a gentle heart and a growing sense of confidence. I can be a bit shy at first, especially in new environments, but I warm up quickly and once I trust you, I’m all about the snuggles and kisses. I love being close to my people — I even sleep in bed and start the day with enthusiastic good-morning smooches.<br/><br/>I’ve done wonderfully with adults and strangers, and while I haven’t met young children yet, my soft and affectionate nature suggests I would likely do well with respectful introductions. On walks, I’m still building confidence and can get a little nervous around traffic or unfamiliar people, but I improve every day.<br/><br/>I’m fantastic with other dogs — both large and small. I’ve been especially sweet and respectful with my senior resident dog. I may be shy initially, but I warm up quickly and enjoy companionship. I haven’t been tested with cats.<br/><br/>I’m house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained (I run into my kennel happily at bedtime!), and I know my basic commands. I’m very food motivated and eager to learn. I can be a bit of an opportunist if food is left within reach, but I respond well to being told “no.”<br/><br/>I have a medium energy level — I enjoy casual walks and playtime but also love to relax and cuddle. I do enjoy chewing (so sturdy toys are a must!) and can get a little mouthy when excited, though I redirect easily.<br/><br/>Pinto would thrive in a home that continues to build his confidence and gives him lots of love and reassurance.
