Pinochhio's Story

Pinocchio, or “Pino,” is a deeply affectionate little guy who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He bonds quickly and loves to follow you from room to room, always ready to snuggle up and keep you company.

Pino’s early life left him a bit anxious, so he’s looking for a patient, understanding home that can help him feel safe and secure. He does experience separation anxiety and isn’t comfortable being confined, but with consistency and compassion, he continues to build confidence.

He has a back injury that gives him a slower, careful gait, but don’t let that fool you—Pino still enjoys his walks and exploring the world at his own pace. He’ll need a home where someone can help him navigate stairs when needed.

Pino also has a few manageable medical needs. He’s on a special diet for life to help prevent bladder stones, is a bit hard of hearing (he responds well to a louder voice and gentle guidance), and has occasional coughing due to a sensitive trachea—so he’ll need to wear a harness instead of a collar.

Despite all of this, Pino’s sweet, loving nature shines through. He’s a loyal companion who just wants to feel safe, loved, and included. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow with a big heart, Pino may be your perfect match.

*UTD on vaccines
*Neutered
*Needs calm home with patient family
*Working on improving potty training after surgery
*Gets along well with other dogs his size,
*Loves having other dogs in the house to bond with, but not necessary.

Pino is a loyal little companion who just wants to feel safe, loved, and included. 💛

Apply here to add him to your family!
https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
