Pinky's Story

Meet Pinky!

Pinky is a 5-year-old, white and orange, American Foxhound. Weighing around 47 lbs. (but is expected to gain weight as he was extremely emaciated).

Pinky was brought to us after his owner packed up and abandoned their home, leaving poor Pinky behind to fend for himself. Without 'The Brain' to help him figure out a way to get help, it was time for us at the shelter to step in and save this sweet boy! Pinky is yet another dog that has entered our care severely dehydrated, emaciated, and starving for positive human interaction and love.

It always amazes us when we take in an animal that has seen the worst side of a human and seen what they are capable of and still be so forgiving and want nothing more than to give and receive love. If you couldn't tell by the first picture (which was taken a few minutes after Pinky arrived at our shelter) that he has the absolute biggest heart and is just the sweetest boy you will ever meet, than we don't know how else to convince you, other than asking you to fill out an application and coming to see for yourself! Pinky's favorite things to do, other than helping 'The Brain' figure out how to take over the world, are pretending to be a lap dog, being held like a baby, and running around like a mad man in the yard.

Pinky has not been animal tested just yet, as he is in medical quarantine but, will be tested as soon as he starts looking healthier. Pinky is UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and is scheduled to be neutered. Again, if you are interested in showing Pinky what a loving forever home is, please fill out an application.

True Friends AWC
16332 SR 706
Montrose, PA 18801
Kennel License #7284
