What is The Animal Welfare Society’s adoption process?

We look forward to helping to match you with your new best friend and supporting you throughout the adoption process. Adopters are welcome to visit our Adoption Center without a scheduled appointment to meet adoptable pets including dogs, cats, birds and small animals. We are open 7 days a week, from 10 am – 3:30 pm. If a pet is listed as available in foster care, please call first so we can arrange a time for the foster family to bring the pet back to AWS. All foster meetings take place at AWS. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.

Is Pinky good with kids?

Pinky is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Pinky good with other animals?

Pinky is good with other dogs and cats.

When can I meet Pinky?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Pinky?
