Pinky's Story

Meet Pinkie!!

Don't let her small size fool you—Pinkie is packed with personality! This spunky, happy little girl brings joy wherever she goes, bouncing around with her signature hops and playful energy. She's friendly with everyone she meets and loves making new friends, both human and canine.

Pinkie absolutely adores playing with her foster siblings. She's also quite the observer, taking in the world around her with curious eyes. When playtime winds down, Pinkie shows her softer side, happily cuddling up with other dogs or melting into your arms for a cozy nap.

She's currently working on crate and potty training and is making great progress. With her smart and eager-to-please nature, she'll thrive in a home ready to continue guiding her as she grows.

Pinkie is the perfect mix of playful spark and snuggly sweetness. If you're looking for a joyful little companion who will keep you smiling and then curl up close at the end of the day, Pinkie is ready to hop right into your heart.

- would LOVE a home with another playful doggy and/or kiddos as she is very playful, high energy, and spunky personality.

- curious about cats but needs to learn boundaries.

- walks well and will hold the leash too.

- will “talk” to you to let you know she needs something.

- has crate trained well, just needs a bit to settle down once inside.

- still working on potty training completely but doing well and needs continued positive reinforcement.

- very observant, likely to pick up on training well once properly motivated.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt

Please bear with us as we process applications! We are working on changing our processes to function during the COVID-19 outbreak. We have had a big increase in people wanting to adopt (yay!) so it's taking us a bit of time to get through the applications. We work on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must apply for adoption before you will be able to meet with a pup. If you meet with a dog and decide to adopt, we can process your adoption right then and you can go home with your new family member! Thank you for adopting from us and saving our sweet dogs!
