Pinkie's Story
Meet Pinkie

Some dogs take time to work their way into your heart. Pinkie isnt one of them. Hes the kind of dog you meet once and immediately start imagining curled up beside you at home.

At only 67 months old, Pinkie and his brother Chance have already had to fight harder for their lives than they ever should have.

They were found in the country after reportedly being dumped. Someone reached out asking for help, but it quickly became clear that these two little boys werent truly wanted there. They needed somewhere they would be treated like they mattered.

We took them in, believing the worst was behind them.

Then they broke with parvo.

We watched two tiny puppies who had already been discarded fight for their lives. There were moments when we didnt know what their future would look like, but Pinkie and Chance fought their way through it.

They survived.

And what gets us the most is that none of it changed who they are.

Pinkie is gentle, easygoing and incredibly affectionate. He loves playing with other dogs, but hes just as happy climbing into your lap and settling in like thats exactly where he belongs. Hes smart, learns incredibly quickly, and there honestly isnt much weve found that he doesnt enjoy.

Hes simply easy to love.

These boys dont know that someone once decided they werent worth keeping. They dont know how close they came to never getting the chance to grow up. They just know that people mean cuddles, other dogs mean playtime, and a lap is always a good place to be.

Now we want them to know what it feels like to belong somewhere forever.

Our dream would be for Pinkie and Chance to be adopted together. After everything theyve experienced side by side, seeing them walk into their forever home together would mean the world to us. However, we understand that finding a home for two dogs can be difficult, and we are willing to separate them for the right families.

Pinkie survived being abandoned.

He survived parvo.

Now we dont want him to simply survive anymore.

We want him to be someones baby. Someones best friend. Someones reason to smile when they walk through the door.

Give Pinkie the chance to belong to you, and we have a feeling youll wonder how your home ever felt complete without him.

Transport is Available for approved adoptions.
NOTE TRANSPORT FEE $150-$300 not included in adoption fee.

ADOPTION APPLICATION
https://bluuscluustexasstreetrescue.org/adoption-application
